Reviewing activity and analytics
This page explains which Activity data is available on each plan, how full insights identify content gaps, and how to permanently delete a transcript.
What does the Activity page show?
Every plan shows total Messages, total Conversations, and a list of recent conversation previews with time and message count.
Growth and Scale also show Unique questions, Improvement opportunities, Top questions, and Peak times. On Free, those full-insight sections are replaced by an upgrade panel that reads Full insights.
Which metrics are tracked?
| Metric | What it tracks |
|---|---|
| Messages | Total visitor messages for the selected site. |
| Conversations | Unique recorded sessions for the selected site. |
| Unique questions | Distinct normalized visitor questions; Growth and Scale only. |
Analytics are site-specific. Switch sites from the dashboard header to review another site's activity.
What are improvement opportunities?
On Growth and Scale, Improvement opportunities lists repeated questions Kai could not fully answer. Each row is marked Gap and links to Update knowledge base, where you can add or improve the missing source content.
How should I use top questions?
On Growth and Scale, frequently asked questions are ranked by count. Use them to:
- Add missing answers to your knowledge base.
- Identify content gaps on your website.
- Prioritize pages for the next crawl refresh.
Questions that also appear in improvement opportunities carry an inline Gap badge.
How do peak times help?
Growth and Scale show Peak times, a list of the busiest visitor engagement windows.
If activity clusters around a launch, campaign, or seasonal period, refresh the knowledge base before expected traffic increases.
How do I delete a conversation?
The Conversations section is available on every plan. Each row shows a preview of the first visitor message when available, the last-message timestamp, and message count.
- Select Delete on the conversation.
- Review the Delete conversation? confirmation.
- Select Yes, delete.
Deletion permanently removes the transcript and cannot be undone. Select Cancel or click outside the dialog to keep it. If deletion is in progress, the confirmation controls remain disabled until the request finishes.
